No player, coach, parent or sibling should enter any BVHA Facility if exhibiting symptoms of COVID19 (fever, cough with difficulty breathing, unexplained sore throat, unexplained diarrhea/vomiting/abdominal pain, severe headache, loss of taste or smell).
Any BVHA member attending the Scheels IcePlex or Blue Mound Ice Arena for practice, play or hosting games must follow facility COVID policy
When in doubt, STAY HOME.
Skaters not required to wear face coverings on ice during practices or games.
Face coverings will be required in the locker rooms, scorers area and all enclosed structures. Masks are highly recommended on the outdoor grounds of the BVHA facility.
Skaters/coaches are recommended to keep locker room time to no more than 30 minutes prior to practice or games, and no more than 15 minutes after practice or games.
Squirt and younger aged skaters are encouraged to partially dress at home. Players may put on gloves, helmets and skates in the locker rooms. Goalies are the only exception.
Bring your own labeled water bottle.
Hand sanitizer available in the warming area please use upon arrival and exit of the locker rooms.
Locker rooms will be sanitized before and after each use.
Parents and Spectators are highly encouraged to socially distance.
No pre- or post-game handshakes.
No gear is to be left in the locker rooms.
Contact Eric Kranzlerimmediately when a player, coach or other team personnel tests positive, somebody in a player’s household has tested positive or when a player or coach has been exposed to somebody confirmed to have COVID19.
Any team members or coaches with a confirmed positive COVID19 can return to activities after 10 days after onset of symptoms and 72hrs without a fever or persistent cough.
Anyone closer than 6 ft for more than 15 minutes and not wearing a mask is deemed a close contact
Any confirmed close contact must self-quarantine following the proper steps to align with current CDC requirements.
Any confirmed positive COVID19 case, that required hospitalization, MUST have a doctor's note to return to play.
BVHA leadership will notify all teammates and coaches when a player on that team has tested positive, but BVHA will keep the individual’s identity anonymous. All information will be treated in compliance with HIPAA.
